Melissa Tapper Goldman (Director, Producer) lived in Boston, Albuquerque, Berkeley and New York over the course of filming of this project, working odd jobs and finding interview subjects along the way. She has worked as a writer, researcher, percussionist and designer. Previously, she was a producer on Arts & Crafts Pro (2008). Prior to this project, she worked as a Managing Editor with The Townscape Institute, doing research and advocacy about public art. Her independent writing has focused on the effects of media on individual psychology. Goldman grew up outside Boston and currently lives in New York City.
Christy Ann Spindler (Editor) grew up in West Virginia. She moved to Florida in 1992 to attend Florida State University where she received a BA in creative writing and a Masters Degree in Teaching English as a Second Language. She taught English for 5 years; first in Tokyo, then Seattle and finally in the public schools of New York City. She met Melissa one summer when they both taught at a boarding school in a small town in Massachusetts.
Since 2005, Spindler has worked as a video editor for Naked Eye Editorial. She edits commercials, corporate videos and other long form projects for television. Spindler is recently married and had her first child in 2008. She lives in Tampa, Florida.
